All,

I'm replacing a PCU on a T3 and when I do a "id read u1pcu2" on this
particular PCU it says:

Revision : 0000
Manufacture Week : 00371999
Battery Install Week : 00162002
Battery Life Used : 0 days, 0 hours
Battery Life Span : 730 days, 12 hours
Serial Number : 003331
Battery Warranty Date: 20030305182708
Battery Internal Flag: 0x00000000
Vendor ID : TECTROL-CAN
Model ID : 300-1454-01(50)

But, refresh -s shows:

No battery refreshing Task is currently running.

                        PCU1 PCU2
-----------------------------------------------------------------
U1 Normal SHELF LIFE EXPIRED
U2 Normal Normal

Current Time Wed Mar 05 11:27:55 2003
Last Refresh Thu Mar 13 00:53:35 2003
Next Refresh Thu Mar 13 00:53:35 2003

Does the shelf life not take into account the battery date, or just the
manufacture date?

Are PCU's manufactured 2+ years ago no longer usable?

Thoughts?

Peter.
