Lost /dev/md/<diskgroup> entry in a SUN cluster

Hi folks,

I'm trying to setup a SUN Cluster 3.0, made out of two Netra T1 and a
Multipack. Everything went fine, but when I tried to build the disksets, the
system gave me errors abt. some metadevices which could not befound. So, I
decided to do a reconfiguration boot (with boot -r) on the nodes.
Hm, it seems that was not a very good idea, 'cause now, the diskset's entry
in /dev/md is gone, and I don't know how to re-create it...
Any ideas?

I did the following so far:

- create the diskset with metaset
- put the nodes and the disks in it, that created /dev/md/mmsc_dg/ and some
specials in this dir (mmsc_dg is the name of my diskset)
- Wrote a /etc/lvm/md.tab file, and try to execute it with metainit - that
failed (Don't know the exact errors, sorry)

Than, I rebooted, and now, I have the following situation:

The diskset is still there, I can see it with metaset - but, I can't do
anything with it... When I try to execute my md.tab once again, the system
tells me "mmsc_dg/d61: No such file or directory".
I also tried to get rid of the diskset, to create it once again. That also
failed, since a "metaset -s mmsc_dg -d /dev/did/dsk/d5" gives the same
error.
So, the only thing I can imagine to get out of here is re-creating the
specials in /dev/md - but, how to do that?!

Hope some of you has an idea,

many thanks,

Harald
