hi gurus,

       i have a solaris 8 machine with A1000,
everytime i try to shutdown the machine or bring it
down to single user mode, everything goes fine except
that i get the following message and the machine
hangs,

umount: /home busy

after this i have to do stop-A , fsck and bring it
up again.i tried looking for a solution, one person
had a similar problem....in the /etc/init.d/autofs
script he commented out the kill proc automountd
command since some file system are not properly
unmounted by the previous umountall command in the
script....this solved his problem but not mine...i get
same message when i tried going into single user
mode..

any help will be greatly appreciated...thanks in
advance

peace

ravi
