hey all -- I don't seem to have any log entries that make any sense in
this regards, but apparently my NIS master failed last night (yes, we
failed over to the secondary -- but still bothersome that it just gave
up it's life)
I have a BUNCH of errors that look like:
Feb 27 00:20:00 neith ypserv[9427]: [ID 942997 user.error] dev udp open failed
spanning back through yesterday -- can't seem to find anything on it
-- anyone out there got any thoughts?
subquestion:
also seeing a lot of errors like:
Feb 26 13:45:08 neith sshd[27820]: [ID 800047 auth.error] error:
connect_to ::1 port 18700: Network is unreachable
my /etc/inet/ipnodes file looks like:
# cat ipnodes
#
# Internet host table
#
127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost
and we don't have ipV6 on the system at all -- any thoughts?
