Dear Mnagers,

I asked:
I got a U10 without monitor/keybord from Ebay. Now I need to connect this to my PC through my serial port. U10 port A is DB25 Female and PC serial port is DB9 Male. If I buy a DB25/DB9 adaptor can I connect my PC to the serial of my U10?. Do I need anything else?. I have teraterm installed on my PC.

Summary:
Overhelming reponses to connect with null modem cable. Thanks for the replies (to long to list the names). I have connected my PC to the U10. I get the console log-in prompt. I don't have the root passwd (bought on Ebay) so I have to break-in. I am using TeraTermpro but it is not responding to my break (ctrl-break) signal. pl help me.
