Connecting a Multipack Storage to a Netra (Multi-homed)

Hi Gurus,

I have to build a Cluster with two Netra T1 and a Multipack Storage (yes,
the storage is not redundant - but, it's only for testing purposes, so no
problem)
Since I need the PCI-Slot of the Netras for the third ethernet-adapter, I
have to use the internal SCSI-controller to make the connection to the
multipack. So, setup is as follows:

--------- ------------ ---------
! ! ! ! ! !
! Netra ! ! Storedge ! ! Netra !
! SCSI !--------! IN OUT!-----------! SCSI !
---------- ------------- ----------

In my opinion, this should work, but unfortunately, it doesn't. I've set the
scsi-initiator-id of the first netra's hostadapter to 6, and the second one
to 7, as described in the Cluster Manual.
When only one Netra is connected to the StorEdge, everything's fine, a
probe-scsi-all shows me 5 Disks - 2 in the Netra, and 3 in the Storedge.
This works for every Netra.
But, when I connect the second Netra to the chain, probe-scsi-all hangs with
an "Illegal instruction", and the only way to get out of this, is power-down
the Netras physically, and switch them on again.

Any ideas what's wrong here? Would be better to use extra controllers for
the Multipack, but since the Netra has just one PCI-Slot (and I don't have
SCSI/Ethernet-Combi-Cards), this is impossible.

Hope anyone can help,

thanks,

Harald
