Hi,
Got a V880, currently running Solaris 8 10/01 base,
KR15, OBP 4.7.0. I'm trying to upgrade to 02/02 base
KR18 etc. The machine is one of a cluster of two. Done
one machine with no problems. The second machine
hangs during the upgrade. Boot CD 1of 2, select
language, locale etc, get to the list of terminals being
used, select vt100, messages comes back"checking
system, please wait" and that's where it stops. We've
left it overnight just to make sure it wasn't being slow.
I've also tried booting from the Installation CD and
upgrading via that route. Gets as far as the patch
checking stage then fails with:
Analysing installed patches, please wait
/Task failed: java.lang.NullPointerException
Anyone got any bright ideas please?
