Good afternoon, Managers.
I've got an Ultra 5. I've got one 20GB IDE Drive. I've also got the
Symbios SCSI Card. I connected a Seagate 18GB SCSI drive to it and
attempted to install Solaris 8. I did a STOP-A and then a
probe-scsi-all to make sure that the SCSI card saw the drive and it did
- SCSI ID 3.
So, I continue with the install and put the swap slice on the IDE drive.
However, when I get to the part of the setup where I select drives to
install on, it doesn't show the SCSI drive - just the IDE. The IDE
drive is set to cable select, if that matters.
Is there something I am doing wrong? How do I get this SCSI drive to
show during setup?
Thanks in advance!
- Peter
