Hello managers, I have a question that hopefully one of you has already
answered succesfully.
I have a SFV880 4 CPUs 8 Gb RAM, Running Solaris 8 (02/02)
which has a T3 Workgroup connected via a FC card.
The t3 is configured as a RAID 5.
We are running Oracle 8i (8.1.7) and the application is extremeley I/O
intensive, only one CPU is really being used.
Which are the best parameters in kernel level and in the T3
configuration to improve the performance, at this time is pretty bad.
Any suggestion will be greatly aprecitated.
