Dear all,

I'm experiencing problems with lpr.
I 'm constantly receiving messages like these in /var/adm/messages

Feb 20 15:14:36 eastgsrv01 lp[16524]: [ID 889138 lpr.error] Warning:
Received SI
GPIPE; continuing

This is the configuration in /etc/inetd.conf
# Print Protocol Adaptor - BSD listener
printer stream tcp6 nowait root /usr/lib/print/in.lpd
in.lpd

I found, on the internet one posting that changing the protocol tcp6 to
tcp (tcp4) could resolve the problem (Normally tcp6 should support ipv4
and ipv6). This is a production server and I don't have a test server.
So testing, reporducing the problem is out of the question :(

Did any one experienced this problem before?

kind regards,
Kim De Smaele
