The overwhelming recommendation is minicomm. But it only exists via
source and compile, anyone has minicomm in a package format?

Are there COMM port software for Solaris 8 that's the equivalent of
TERATERM or QVT for Windows? I'm familiar with tip that comes with
Solaris, but prefer something w/more control.
We have a couple of Windows box and it's main purpose is for console
access via COMM port --and I prefer a solution for Solaris.
