Hi all,
Am in dire straits trying to get an Ultra 60 with a Raptor GFX graphics
card up and running with Solaris 2.6 5/98.
On boot from cdrom, I see two errors:
NOTICE: Can't find driver for framebuffer console.
and
loadkeys: ioctl(KIOCLAYOUT): Timer expired
In itself this isn't a problem, however when I am prompted to enter text
from the keyboard, each character typed is repeated 40 times, causing
the text buffer to fill up rapidly.
As it is not feasible for me to install this particular box any other
way than at the console (time-critical, no terminal or serial cable),
has anybody any thoughts on how to get around this?
