netstat errors

We recently moved to a new datacenter. (containing about 50 sun
servers) We are using the same hardware that we did in a previous
datacenter with no problem. After the move we started seeing random
missed packets in pings. netstat -s and netstat -i revealed output
errors and high tcp retransmits. netstat -k confirms the output errors
and says that they are "carrier errors". These servers are in two
different switches (that are trunked together)and are all showing these
errors. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing it or how I could
go about fixing it? I'm not even sure what carrier errors are.

Thanks, managers
Erik
