Hello Managers,

We have SUN Ultra1 with SUNOS Release 5.51 with SVR4.0
While booting, the system is not coming to mutli-user mode, instead a blank screen is being displayed only a busy (hour-glass) icon is being displayed.
We have booted into single user mode and ran the fsck using the folowing command:

fsck -y /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s3

We checked all the filesystems. fsck gives the following error for var and root:

FILE SYSTEM STATE IN SUPERBLK IS WRONG; FIX?

But even if we give yes or no, the same message is shown when fsck is run again. We booted from the OS CD, and ran fsck again. Now no error is displayed on any filesystem.

When the system is allowed to boot and the same hour-glass is being displayed forever, we are able to ping and telnet to the system from the network.

Can this problem be related to the Graphics Card?

Please Help,

Chandra Babu
