Patching jumpstart

Is there a way to apply patches (&|| clusters) to my jumpstart setup?
Patching a fresh Solaris8 installation takes longer than the installation
itself.

I'm aware that I can patch miniroot (patchadd -R .../Tools/Boot xxxxxx-xx)
but that's only used while installing the packages from right?
I'd like to patch .../Solaris_8/Product/

Hmm, that's probably what the maintenance updates are for.
Anybody have any ideas?
