Mutt

Sun Gurus,

I've upgraded my E450 running Solaris 2.6 to Solaris 8. I'm running into a
problem when running the mutt email client. When trying to send mail, I get
the following error:

---- snip %< ---
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 77: fileclass: cannot open
'/etc/mail/local-host-names': Group writable directory
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 472: fileclass: cannot open
'/etc/mail/trusted-users': Group writable directory
--- snip %< ---

My /etc/mail/local-host-names is an empty file and my
/etc/mail/trusted-users has a single line containing "root".

These look like two new files since 2.6. My old E450 with 2.6 does not have
these two files. I've tried adding to the files (not knowing the correct
syntax) and I've tried changing file permissions (temporarily) to 777 to see
if it was a permission issue, with no positive result.

This server does not handle mail for my domain. I only need it to be able
to send mail.

Any and all help appreciated. Will summarize.

TIA,

Christian
