boot -r on a ultra 1

Hi

This is the problem i have right now:

I've installed Solaris 2.6 on a SUN Ultra 1E. Before applying the
Recommended Patches Cluster, every action works fine (even a boot -r).
After applying the cluster of recommended patches, the boot -r process
stops working. The systems goes over the boot process, but it never ends.
I've noticed that the ftp service is active, the telnet service
responds, but i never get a login prompt, and at the console i never get
a login prompt. even though, if i go through a normal boot process
everything works fine.
I thought it could be a PROM version problem, so i upgraded it acording
to the latest releas (July 2000), but the problem persists.
I've changed the media CD, even the workstation (i have 2 identical
ultra 1) with the same result.
The instalation process was done via the network (no direct cd unit is
attached).

Thanks for your help.
