move solaris 8 on UE2 to 220R

I'm trying to boot a disk from a UE2 in a 220R. I installed these
packages (compared /kernel/drv with a 220R already running solaris 8):

SUNWncar SUNWncarx SUNWpd SUNWpdx SUNWrtvcx SUNWusb SUNWusbx

When I boot from the disk in the 220R I get this:

 Boot device: /pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/disk@0,0 File and args: -r

 manually (fsck -F ufs /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0). Exit the shell when
 done to continue the boot process.

When I'm dropped to a shell, I find all the paths still point to SBUS
addresses:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 51 Sep 19 2000 /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0
-> ../../devices/sbus@1f,0/SUNW,fas@e,8800000/sd@0,0:a

I touched /reconfigure and booted with -r. I'm hesitant to do something
drastic like manually edit /etc/path_to_inst ... but I'm not really sure
what to try at this point.

Any and all pointers welcome.
