LUXADM replacement for Photons on JNI cards

Hello Managers.

I just recently started playing with JNI Fibre Channel HBAs, and was blow
away when I found that luxadm only works with Sun HBA's. While Luxadm is
often a pain in the butt, I'm not sure how to live without it. I'm
curious if there is a luxadm replacement, or if anyone has attempted to
write one. The most important information is disk location in the array.
Is it possible that StoreEdge Componant Manager could get this
information? I'm skeptical, since I believe that SECM actually calls
luxadm to grab most of it's A5x00 related information.
A possible fix would be to write a script that, based on SCSI ID, can
determine array type and figure the disk location based on that
information, but this would assume that the disk array is fully populated
and each disk was added in order, otherwise there is a possiblity that the
SCSI ID's don't neccisarily go F0(t0),F1(t1), etc. I can guess at the
arrays id, based on the target range, but not its name, etc.
Anyway, is there something out there or should I start working on my own
tool?
