additional info:

- two weeks ago I already did a flar installation successfully on
  this target system

- in the meantime the installation server got patched with following
solaris 9 security and recommended patches:
  o 112617-02 CDE 1.5: rpc.cmsd patch
  o 112945-05 SunOS 5.9: wbem Patch
  o 113718-01 SunOS 5.9: usr/lib/utmp_update Patch
o 112764-04 SunOS 5.9: Sun Quad FastEthernet qfe driver
  o 112785-12 X11 6.6.1: Xsun patch
o 112817-06 SunOS 5.9: Sun GigaSwift Ethernet 1.0 driver patch
  o 113718-01 SunOS 5.9: usr/lib/utmp_update Patch

- flar installation fails now. I can't see a relation with this patches.
