Samba on solaris error: network name cannot be found

Hi,

I have installed samba on my solaris running solaris 8.
When i try to access the share from windows2000 machine, i can see the shares of my server.
If i say \\ril09 it shows up the shares of ril09.
When i click any of the shares it gives me an error
\\ril09\homes is not accessible
network path not found.

Pls let me know if anyone has got any hints to solve the problem.
