part of a sparc solaris 2.5 data transfer
script is: target=/net/$host/opt/...
for one sparc solaris 2.6 the line above
works and creates /net/host1 with proper permissions
for its subdirs, but with other solaris 2.6 target the
/net/host2/.. does not have proper permissions
for the subdirs. owner is 1001 instead of "user1"
why?.
