Hi Managers,
I'm performing backup of a partition that is in a mirror device this way:
lockfs -w /export (NOTE: Never lock "/")
metaoffline d3 d23
lockfs -u /export
fsck -n /dev/md/rdsk/d23 (NO WRITE, Sanity check)
mount -r /dev/md/dsk/d23 /backup/d23 (READ ONLY)
[run backup software over /backup/d23]
umount /backup/d23
metaonline d3 d23
The first time I did it, all was fine. The next times it apears in
the fsck run the error:
FILE SYSTEM STATE IN SUPERBLOCK IS WRONG; FIX [y]: n
What goes wrong? Should I try to fsck/repair the entire mirror (d3) ?
Regards,
Jordi
