I am using an ultra 250 as a stand alone system with sloaris 8 2/02. Every so
often my connectivity just up and dies. Can't ping anybody. This thing acts
kind of flaky when booting up also with many messages like

using internal tranceiver

I've tried a couple of cables and my other boxes connected to the same router
don't seem to have any problems.

I'm using DHCP, an ifconfig -a shows a valid IP, yet I can't ping the system
from another box.

I'm configured for IPv6 and ifconfig -a says

hme0 flags=2000841<UP, RUNNING, MULTICAST, IPv6> mtu 1500 index 2

any ideas ? an ultra 5 running the same configuration plugged into the same
router doesn't have any problems.
