My question:
I switched a server IBM running AIX operating system by a SUN V880
running solaris 8. I have used the command "site umask" in ftp AIX for set
the umask files. Are there a similar command in Solaris ftp or other
solution?
Answer:
You can add a global umask to the built in FTP server by editing
/etc/default/ftpd and add the line UMASK=xxx . Refer to the "in.ftpd"
