Hi

WE are currently rebuilding our web server.
We are trying get all our users across from Solaris 2.7 to solaris 8.

Most our users have userids that allow them only ftp access. This was achieved
on 2.7 by using /dev/null instead of a valid shell this allows them access
only to their own home directories to upload or download stuff.

This however does not seem to work with solaris 8.

Is there another way to do this on solaris 8.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
