Solaris 8 DNS Lookup probs.....

Hi,

I have a mail server that is trying to reverse lookup every network
connection to it...

I need this to stop A.S.A.P

As this mail server accepts mail from other machines on the net, we
have to be nice to our neighbors and accept mail from sources that may
not match the source domains mx record.

With this machine operating this way, it is bouncing many mails from
legit customers.

I know 100% that this is Solaris and not Postfix, Postfix has not been
configured to nslookup each connection,
Telnet is affected as well as Mail, we have sniffed and seen the DNS
requests go to our external DNS server, this puts a 3 min delay before
the login prompt is issued!

Does anyone know how to stop this machine doing a lookup for these
connection attempts.

Simon
