V880 question

Greetings Managers
I have a V880 which has a process running on it that is hogging an entire
CPU. The program is cfgadm which has been running from boot time. As I
inherited this machine from someone who has now left I am unable to find
anything in /etc/init.d or the rc directories that would start it off.

Any idea where this comes from and how I could get rid of it short of a kill
command?
The server has veritas running on it.

Thanks in advance.
Roger
