NFS client timeout

Hi everybody,

I have 5 machines (Ultra 10) which mount their home directories from a
server (e4500).
All systems running Sol 8 with the latest patches. We don't use NIS or NIS+
!!
Due the fact that the server runs several "evaluation" applications which
means it tend to crash.
However, wen I reboot the server (init 6) the system will goes down -
including the NFS server (process).
So the clients freeze because their directories are lost/blocked and their
NFS-client are waiting to infinity until the server comes back.
Is there a way to tell the NFS-clients to time out after one minute and stop
searching for the shares ? - so at least the system is released.
