Weird network behaviour.

Hi,
I've installed a base install of Solaris 8 on an Ultra 60 running
OpenBIOS 3.2. I have 1 major problem with this however. The network
connection appears to go to sleep after a short period of inactivity. I
can telnet to the machine, wait a few seconds for a prompt and then use
it normally but if I leave the session unattended for a while it goes to
sleep. It recovers 5-10 seconds after hitting the keyboard a few times.
This occurs whether I'm using telnet, ssh, ftp and ping. The console
port doesn't sleep at all.

Is there something I'm missing here? powerd is not installed so it can't
be that.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
  Andrew
