ldapclient issue for ldapauth pls help

HI all

   i hav installed openldap 1.2.11 on sun os 5.9 ,
nnow i am trying to use ldap based authentication for
all the user , i hav modified my nsswith.conf and
pam.conf , but now when i try to tun ldapclient
command on the same mechine it gives me following and
then gets hung i mean it didt respond

it just gives this and then hungs

bash-2.05# ldapclient manual -a
