compile error on solaris 9

Hi there

   i tried to compile openldap 1.2.11 on sun OS 5.9 ,
and it gives me these error , have any one faced this
error ,

checking for pthread_detach with <pthread.h>... yes
checking for pthread_setconcurrency... yes
checking for pthread_getconcurrency... yes
checking for thr_setconcurrency... yes
checking for thr_getconcurrency... yes
checking if pthread_create() works... no
~
configure: error: pthread.h and pthread_create are not
compatible

  what action should i take to compile it sucessfully
on my sun mechine
