72 GB disks in A1000

Hi all,

I have a A1000 array with this firmware:

Vendor ID Symbios, ProductID StorEDGE A1000, Product Revision 0301, Boot Level 03.01.03.04, Boot Level Date 07/06/00, Firmware Level 03.01.03.63, Firmware Date 03/15/01

Raid Manager software is the release 6.22.01.14, and I have Solaris 2.6 5/98 in Sun E4500. I need add more disks in the A1000, and I want add 72 GB disk drives. 72 GB disks are supported in A1000 (Sun web information), but I don't know if with my configuration I can add this disks drives. Is it required a firmware upgrade or Solaris patches?

Another question. For hot plugging a disk in the A1000 (without rebooting) it's necessary execute any system command, or make any procedure in the rm6 GUI configuration tool, or the A1000 - RAID manager software discovers the new disk drives without user operation?
