Hello:

A E420R system has crashed (happened 4 times in last 2
months)and vmcore file was generated.

No apparent HW problems in 'prtdiag' output,
Solaris 8 1/01 distribution, kernel update only
108528-05, with VxVM3.2 and VxFS3.4, 2x36G internal
disks,1 GB memory, 1.5GB swap. But no memory hogs, CPU
is very minimal.

In the absence of SUN support contract, how do i go
about analyzing this dump. (i know of SUN's support
crash analysis based on explorer output)

system log indicated following memory errors.

savecore: [ID 570001 auth.error] reboot after panic:

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
