Hi all
I have installed the newes Open Boot version on a Ultra 1. The Ultra 1 tells
me on the boot process following:
Rebooting with command: boot
Boot device: disk File and args:
|
NOTICE: 64-bit OS installed, but the 32-bit OS is the default
for the processor(s) on this system.
See boot(1M) for more information.
Booting the 32-bit OS ...
I know that is possible to boot the Ultra 1 in 64bit mode because the
processor could do this (can't find the neccessary information on sunsolve
or somewhere) but two question I have:
- What must be done to boot in 64bit mode
- Is this a good idea, problems....performance etc
If somebody can me give some opinions, suggestions etc would be nice.....by
by...
