Dear Managers,
I am in search of a TCP Wrapper/Wrapper like tool
which will scan through the packets (Not just the
header for the source IP address) and prevent attacks
like Denial of Service.
TCP Wrapper which I came across just checks the
/etc/hosts file and decides whether to establish the
connection or not, from the client requesting the
same.
It does not do anything to see if the same client is
initiating multiple sessions (endless no of sessions
until the server hangs). Any suggestions ? some good
reading materials discussing these propblems are also
most welcome.
