Hi,
today we got some strange /var/adm/messages entries:
Jan 8 14:28:05 fermi unix: NOTICE: free inode /export/d3/1918782 had size 0x869ed1
Jan 8 15:51:31 fermi unix: NOTICE: ufs_itrunc: /export/d3/1918782 new size = 0, blocks = -8380
the box is an e250/solaris 7, filesystem is ufs logging, system is running
fine for now.
Is it necessary to fsck?
Is the disk going bad?
In the archives I found reports of kernel panics after such messages,
should we care about this?
Thanks,
Michael
