rsync does not work anymore

Hello sunmanagers,

I am not sure whether this is Solaris related so please excuse if this
is off topic. We use rsync to transfer files to our customers machines
(Solaris 8). This worked great for months. Now we always get the
following error message.

Read from remote host <remote ip address>: Connection reset by peer
rsync error: received SIGUSR1 or SIGINT (code 20) at
/SourceCache/rsync/rsync-8.1/rsync/rsync.c(229)

Any idea what this means?
