It indeed seems to be that the E420R can take a maximum of 4GB of Memory.

I have been told by a local SUN vendor that the maximum possible memory for
an E420R is 4GB. Is this correct?

I currently have 4GB of memory in the server and am wanting to upgrade and
was wondering what configurations are possible, e.g. 5GB, 6GB, etc.
