Hi all,

I am facing problem in removing tape devices which are
previously configured.

System is E-3500 with Solaris 8 installed.

Previously Sun StorEdge L3500 was configured with 4 drives in
system.
SCSI IDs of drives are 1 2 3 & 4 respectively.
System identified this as a 1cb, 2cb, 3cb and 4cb.
and this drives were connected to "sbus@2" IO board:1.

Now new L40 LTO has been brought.
I have to connect this L40s' two drives to the same IO Board
and card i.e. "sbus@2" IO Board:1.

I tried to run "devfsadm -C -c tape" to clear previously
configured devices..... but its not removing and links.
and as the SCSI IDs of this drives are also 1 2 3 4 but I can't
change the SCSI IDs too as this should be dual hosted.

I can't run "cfgadm" too as this IO board has storage A3500FC
conneted with it.

Can anyone help me in removing this previously configured
devices???

Regards,
Dinesh R
