NFS Flash Archive extraction through Interactive install

Folks,

I am working on installing a Flash archive (size 1.4GB) of Solaris 8 2/02
with the most recent patches (Dec. 2, 2002 acquired from Sun's website)
and several applications installed in /opt using the Solaris interactive
installation (using the Solaris 8 cdrom). I have FTPed the archive to a
2.6 jumpstart server that has already been configured for sharing its
/export/jumpstart/pkg directory to act as the NFS server.

After selecting NFS from the Flash Archive retrieval method, providing
the source of the archive (using the example provided... e.g.
<IP>:/export/jumpstart/pkg/test.archive), and setting up the disks, the
extraction went through but gave an error at the end (Could not extract
Flash archive). The install application terminates and goes back to the
prompt. Disks had largefile errors from mount command.

Has anyone gone through this similar process and received the same kind
of error? Thanks in advance for your help on this issue.
