HP FC-to-SCSI Bridge

I've been trying all sorts of things, and am out of ideas - has anyone
successfully used an HP SureStore E SCSI Bridge FC 4/2 Fiber-Channel to
communicate with a SCSI drive over fiber-channel? The bridge is an HP
A3308. I can get it to correctly probe both a SCSI disk, and a tape unit.
I can also get the SUN to correctly probe and communicate with the
bridge's FC interface. However, when attempting to get the Bridge to
respond to the LUN probe, there is an error.

I expect the Bridge to represent the various SCSI target IDs on the SCSI
bus(es) as LUNs to the Solaris Host. I've also tried to access it the
same way using an NT/2000 box, and get the same result. If anybody is at
all familiar with this bridge in a NON-HP environment, please get in
touch - there is much more detail I can provide. Any hints (including a
definitive "forget it") would be most welcome.

Thanks!

Scott
