Hi SunManagers,
We have UPS hooked up with this Sun Fire V880, it
keeps it up for another 5 minutes after power is out.
Now we add more battery on the UPS, we want to extend
this time to 20 minutes on this Sun Fire V880.
I know V880 RSC battery will keep server up for a
while so that you can shut down the server. I didn't
set up the UPS with the server, somebody else did and
not available now, so I don't know the current 5
minutes is actually with UPS or with RSC.
What do I need to do to extend the uptime from 5
minutes to 20 minutes after power is out? Is there any
parameter needs to be changed? We do have enough
battery power from UPS. I read the RSC user's Guide,
it doesn't mention time at all.
