Hi,

I am having problems creating raidsets using the raidutil command line
utility. I am running Solaris 8 with the most recent patch cluster, along
with rm 6.22.1. I have updated the NVSRAM on the controller and I've
updated the firmware:

Vendor ID Symbios
ProductID StorEDGE A1000
Product Revision 0003
Boot Level 03.01.04.00
Boot Level Date 04/05/01
Firmware Level 03.01.04.68
Firmware Date 06/22/01

(there seems to be a patch (112126-06) that contains fw 03.01.04.75 but
this wasn't mentioned in the release notes (805-7758-13) do I did not go
ahead and install it.

When I run the following command:

-
./raidutil -c c1t4d0 -D all -n 0,1,2 -l 0 -s 0 -g 10,11,12,13
I get the following results:
-

LUNs found on c1t4d0.
  LUN 0 RAID 0 46618 MB
  LUN 1 RAID 0 46618 MB
  LUN 2 RAID 0 46618 MB
Deleting all existing LUNs.
Press Control C to abort.
Deleting LUN 0.

 LUNs successfully deleted
Capacity available in drive group: 286421504 blocks (139854 MB).
Creating LUN 0

Registering new logical unit 0 with system.
Formatting logical unit 0 RAID 0 139854 MB
LUNs found on c1t4d0.
  LUN 0 RAID 0 139854 MB

 LUNs successfully created

raidutil succeeded!
Auto configure failed
Auto configure failed

The command seems to be ignoring the fact I want 3 luns created. I know I
have done this in previous releases of RM6. I can go ahead and create the
set via the rm6 GUI.

Regards,

Adam Mazza
