hello sun managers,

i have a blackbox kvm switch (sw735a). we used it for 4 ultra-1, and we had
no problem with it..
ultra-1 shows it uses /dev/fbs/cgsix0 frame buffer for video.

Problem occured when we tried to connect the kvm switch to 4 ultra
enterprise 450 servers....
i see no video from all 4 servers... according to the sw735a resolution
spec. it handles up to 1280x1024 noninterlaced, and i've tried several
different but lower resolutions( and depths) with no success. one thing i
noticed was that e450 uses /dev/fbs/gfxp0 and ultra-1 uses /dev/fbs/cgsix0.

if i don't use the switch, monitor displays no problem.
i know for sure it's not the 13w3 adapters, not the cables and not the
monitor. I think the switch is not liking what gfx is putting out.

here is the hardware configuration...

% GFXconfig -prconf
