scsi-intiator-id on E250 did not work for A1000!

Dear Gurus,

I would like to dual-host an A1000 with an E250 and a E4500.

Will be using 6 drives for E250 and the other 6 for the E4500.

I was trying to change the scsi-initiator-id on the 250 (so don't have
to bother 4500) by trying to change the environment-wide id to 6 and
selectively change the local controller ID to 7, but could not find any
device with the initiator ID of 7!

In the Device Tree at the OBP level, I could only see
/pci@1f,2000/scsi@1,1 (to which the A1000 is connected) and scsi@1
And /pci@1f,4000/scsi@3,1 (local disk drive)

At OK prompt, I used the 'dev' command to browse the device-tree, and
went into the above directories, and then issued a '.properties'
command. I could not see the "scsi-initiator-id" field at all.

Maybe the device tree needed to be recreated by probe-all command first
to see the local controller id 7?

Then I tried changing the scsi-initiator-id of the Differential SCSI
card only using the script from SUN docs...
 probe-all
 cd /pci@1f,2000/scsi@1,1
 6 " scsi-intiator-id" integer-property
 device-end
 install-console
 banner
^c
 ok nvstore
 ok setenv use-nvramrc? True
 ok reset-all

Also, I was getting these errors on the 250 after doing the above:
 disk-slot0 isn't unique
 disk-slot1 isn't unique
 disk-slot2 isn't unique
 disk-slot3...
 ...
 disk-slot5 isn't unique

 cpu-a1 isn't unique
 cpu-a2 isn't unique

 pci-slot#1 isn't unique
 ...
 pci-slot#3 isn't unique

Individually, both 250 and 4500 can see the arrays through RM6.22.1, no
problems, but they cannot see the array simultanesouly. One of the
system will not see anything uner RM.

Maybe, I am missing something...Any ideas?

Thanks,
ACD
