Chroot-BIND-HOWTO

I'm at step 2.4 of http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Chroot-BIND-HOWTO-2.html

I'm thinking going with the FreeBSD 4.3 instructions for Solaris, but
need to be sure, and if anything else needed for Solaris?...Furthermore,

You also need another file in the /etc directory inside the jail. You must
copy /etc/localtime (this is sometimes known as /usr/lib/zoneinfo/localtime
on some systems) in there so that BIND logs things with the right time on
them. The following command will take care of this:

# cp /etc/localtime /chroot/named/etc/

Solaris doesn't have /etc/localtime --are we talking about /etc/TIMEZONE?

In addition, Step 2.5 doesn't mention Solaris, and when I did a man syslogd
there's no -a option. Anyone has further info. on chroot-bind for Solaris?

Thanks.

- Mike

<temporary signature begins> (inspired by media reports on polls)

After 9/11 there were lots of polls and media reports regarding how the
majority of Americans would give up some liberty and rights for freedom
or for better security. Just thought the below quote reminds everyone
that you can not have one without the other --freedom means FREEdom,
no and/if/but/or about it.

"Those willing to give up a little liberty for a little security
  deserve neither security nor liberty."
