Thanks for all who reply.
The problem solved by editing the "export" file on the Netapp.
All NIS Clients names was added with root & access permissions.

I have a Netapp which store the home direcoties of all our development users
under /vol/vol0/home.
I add a new shelf and copy the home directory under /vol/vol1/home.
I also change the auto_home map on the NIS Master from /vol/vol0 to /vol/vol1
I update the exportfs and reboot all the servers (NIS Clients).

When i trying to connect using : su - <user_name>
The error i get is: No directory!

What was wrong ? I need a urgent reply . Thanks.
