thanks all for your help. the problem is solved thanks to darren,jay
ufsrestore ibf 126 /dev/rmt/0cbn solved it but before did a mt -f
/dev/rmt/0cbn asf 1
what i did was this taken a ufsdump on the same tape that i write to
everynight by means of a dd command i didn't know how many records were
present before my ufsdump began.
