Hi all,
I am attempting to use the ct command to push a local sun login prompt to a
remote linux box.
I have the modem attached to the sun running and functional.
I have tested the modem with tip, and it connects and works properly.
Now to the issue...
when i connect using ct... with
ct -s19200 #######
it dials, connects, gives me the connect speed, a login prompt. the second i
type anything in it says "reconnect?" then it drops carrier....
here is the exact output from the machine I am trying to connect to
RING
CONNECT 19200/ARQ/V34/LAPM/V42BIS
login:
Reconnect?
NO CARRIER
any ideas? The relevant lines from the ct files in question are below....
/etc/uucp/Devices
ACU cua/b - 19200 usrv32-ec
/etc/uucp/Dialers
usrv32-ec =,-, "" \dA\pTz\rate1\r\c OK\r \EATDT\T\r\c CONNECT
STTY=crtscts,crtsxoff
thanx all!
